Aquaroll water transfer!

when we go ski ing this year i dont want to move the motorhome when i need to fill up with water. so i have bought an aquaroll to get it to the motorhome but need to get it pumped in.does anybody know the best place to get one and how much i should be paying? cheers,steve

Hi Lavybiff,

I use a little submersible pump that I got on ebay - it was about £7. Connect a short piece of hose (I used a short coiled hose) and either a cigarette lighter plug, or a little 2 prong 12volt caravan type plug/socket (available from any caravan shop).

I used the latter, and fitted the socket on the back of the toilet cassette door, taking a 12volt supply from the toilet electrics. (My toilet door is quite near the water filler).

All works really well, total cost less than £15. You can buy them already made up for the aquaroll, but they are much more expensive.
