Camping Franzlhof
Latitude: 47.507818
Aire/Campsite: A family run campsite a few minutes walk uphill from the village centre. It has a lovely restaurant and bar. There is a small hotel and all the campsite facilities are located in the basement. You can be connected to the gas supply at your pitch along with your electric hook-up if the pressure is correct for your motorhome - just ask at reception. Apparently a lot of the campsites in Austria have this facility. The ski bus stops at the site entrance to take you to the skiing area about 1 km away at the other side of the village.
Resort: Söll is a very pretty village with a few lively après ski bars, restaurants, shops and a couple of small supermarkets.
Skiing: The skiing area is about 1 km away at the other side of the village. Here there are nursery slopes and then a little bit further up, the main gondola. Soll is part of the Wilder Kaiser SkiWelt and is linked to other villages: Scheffau, Ellmau, Going, Brixenthal, Itter, Hopfgarten and Westerndorf. It was one of the best ski areas we have visited, plenty for a full week or even longer.
Thanks to Kathryn Usher for the information.
