Monchavin - Ski /Boarding A very short walk up hill to the lifts 5 minutes max, this really is close ( 200metres) to the 4 man lift which gives access to Montchavin area which is linked to La-Plagne and Les Arcs, lots of options with lift passes so choose carefully. As well as the above facilities the site has 90 places. The toilets and shower block is clean and modern. They are cleaned each day, there is also a drying room for winter boots etc, washing up area and a freezer . Other facilities include:
The views to Les Arcs and Bourg St Maurice are superb. Market day on Wednesdays this is only a hand full of stalls though. Local to campsite Tourist info, internet, and ticket office. A few good bars and Pizzeria, to give you a change of scene, from the van, Spar shop, Cinema and a few novelty shops and a few ski shops. Ice Rink and small heath spa available. Further a Field Bourg St Maurice is 15 minutes away, with everything you need cheap food from Super U. Summary This is a great location for Ski or Snowboarding with a true Alpine feel, and the Paradiski area on your van step. The campsite is rated at 2* but I would say it is easy 3*. Autogas (LPG) at the pumps, always worth stocking up before heading up to the campsite. Notes:
