A winter campsite is located at the side of the hotel Eienwäldli. Very organised with great facilities, use of lovely indoor pool for small charge. Excellent bar meals in hotel, also shop in hotel. Very regular and prompt ski bus stops just outside campsite to go to both ski areas within 10 minutes. On arrival go to the reception in the hotel.

Engelberg is quite a large town. Quite imposing buildings rather than swiss chalets, but still an interesting place to visit and very organised for the skiing. It has a good road to the resort, along the valley.

Engelberg has 2 ski areas. Glacier skiing on mount Titlis reached by the Rotair rotating cable car. The snow was excellent when we were there late March 08
